Across Asia, mental health continues to be a taboo topic. In such societies, I imagine caregivers face even greater stigma and hesitate to speak out or seek help.
What are some things or norms in your societies that you feel greatly disadvantages caregivers?
How can we get through these situations? What are the important things we can do to help alleviate stigma?

RE: How can I support my friend who is a caregiver?I think the greatest form of support is to show up. Show up and listen to them. Show up by learning more about mental illness so as to better understand the struggles your friend might be going through. Show up to remind them they're never alone in their journey- and that it's not selfish for them to seek self care!posted in Mental Health
